And how are things working out for Canadian farmers with our government and China?????

Not only are the US farmers getting some of their markets back in China but they are getting program payments to bridge the gap....

But some Canadian farmers feel they should go it alone in these issues....mortgage grandpa's farm to compete with the US treasury... even though grandpa had a few ad hoc payments in his day.....and lucky for us they get the politician's attention...

So when Kevin Hursch and Jeff Nielson pen stupid articles ...farmers are not well represented.

Our Canadian federal ag minister is doing SFA about the canola situation, as are any canola board members.
The federal ag minister still trying to figure out what canola is

Are you sure that China is buying either of those products from the US?

A tariff on zero sales, or purchases is zero no matter what the tariff percent.

Just asking because the latest Minot green sheet says the above.

        Who to believe.

When railways have a good quarter ..it may be indicative that someone is buying but that gets reported after the fact...

Not sure when people wake the fu ck up to the reality that sales should be publicly reported....whether or not the graincos are privately held or not...

Its a waiver: Beijing will allow Chinese businesses to purchase a "certain amount of farm products such as*soybeans and pork"*

I m thinking we might not want to know what prices everyone else is getting for our grain.
