    Any raw commodity has a market value at a set spec. The producers cost is his problem. Kinda how the world has always worked.

      Selling excellent HRSW at 1970’s prices does not justify to much extra expenses..... this is a ducking joke if the industry even remotely thinks we can continue like this . Been told canola will be below $9 as soon as harvest ramps up

      Then add in carbon tax and a seed tax . There is duck all left after a full year of hard work .... something has to change

              Where it's always been - staffed by kids on their way from law school through the revolving door of the Competition Bureau to careers working for the Cargills, P&Hs etc. It would be more of a surprise if they actually ever did veto a single merger.

                When AWP bought Agricore they had to sell some locations. Same as when Viterra sold Richardson was able to buy a package of elevators as was another company which I can't remember right now.

                  Some of the Viterra input retailers were taken over by Co-op and possibly other companies.
