Starting to think we'll have to suffer a good hard frost, before the weather straightens out.

Frost not in the forecast for more than 2 weeks. Does that mean 2 more weeks of unsettled?

Our forecast is rain/showers for 6 of the next 7 days, over 50mm of moisture.
Standing ripe crops will love that, sarc of course(need to say that for all the non-farmers reading here)
Lots of wheat, barley, peas and lentils were ripe last week already, prior to the 2 plus inches of rain we had last weekend. Quality is really taking a hit,,, nobody talking about that yet. This will likely be the poorest quality, over a wide range of crops here, in 20 years.

I will throw a guess at that 2-3 days after the full moon

Drew suggests COLD after 15th, full moon, 14th, duh could be right. Hope not a month of this crap. Fog rolled in again, couldn't see the yard at 5am. Quality in crapper this year, opposite of 2018 all #1, malt, protein, etc. Needed drying last year though, not unusual for this HUMID area.

If he/she was a company rep in my area, I would go out of my way NOT to deal with him/her.

Hey guys come on , tweey thinks your just whining about the fact that areas get too much rain at harvest . Sask crop insurance has you covered for 100% of your revenue don’t you know 🤔

I don’t think tweety would be very happy if his/her employer said at the end of the year that his/her paycheque was going to get reduced by 20-30% due to events out of his/her control.

I bet you wouldn’t hear any whining at all from tweety if that were to happen. *********
