A pile of that corn was planted late. Especially the states that produce the majority. From what o hear you need the stuff in early enough to hit the big yields. Sounds like 35+ million acres was planted after May 26. Thinking usda set expectations higher cause it’s easier to save face and come down than go up.Comment
