    Fun fact of the day ....

    Green peas seeded at 1.6 bus /ac , 200,000 seeds per / ac by seed count
    Seeded with Horsch planter on 15 in spacing at 7.5 mph
    No fungicide ....
    not root rot , very low disease pressure

      8 years , just low rate vita flow and Nuti Pak as seed treatment

          How does the planter do with trash or direct seeding? I think the pics you have posted before have looked like well worked soil? Looks like you are on the right track anyhow!

            We have a Gates Coulter harrow . It Blackens it up fairly well .
            If your straw and chaff is spread very well off the combine a harrow job is all you need.
            We are putting a Mav chopper on the case now to help manage that much better. The spinners on the case are not good enough for direct seeding with the planter . Especially in canola , so we have to hit that a couple times with the gates now.
