    Clumps in canola bin

Water leaked through spot in roof and there’s clumps at the top which slide down. Can I let those clumps go through grain vac or stop and break them up before sucking them in?

I would make sure the canola in those clumps are cool and sweet. No odor or heated kernels.

Clumps the size of your fist or clumps the size of a small child?

Check if heated. If heated I always throw them out. If not, suck them up. I had a load grade sample just from sucking up a heated spot by the door. I Wasn't happy. I Try not to ever load heated stuff

Follow advice on heated issue but if there isn't much and you're hauling a bunch, surely........

No really. If there heated lumps and they can be thrown out without them breaking up in the bin....chuck it out.

K, so vac did a good job, interested now in buying one. Rented a Rem vrx for the bin. Any suggestions?
Prolly all good, depends on dealer, as most equipment does. JD dealer here sells Brandt, and I like dealing there.

If you want a Brandt your going to be dealing at a JD dealership. Brandt sold it's soul to the Devil. May as well paint the Brandt green and call it a John Deere......thanks a BILLION.
