    Hail damage Saturday night

Anyone else here get hit ?
Chuck , the hail was in your area no ?
It hit real bad from the junction of HWY 26 and 4 and went east 40 miles at least
Some areas 3-4 mile wide was bad
We got hit some but lucky most stayed 4-5 miles north with another strip just 4 mile NE
Lots of Ping pong sized stuff though Whitkow area
    Winds were over 70 k

Hopefully your solar panels never got to damaged chuck . But I think the worst hail was east of you.

Ping pong size hail and solar panels don’t sound like a good combination.

As far as crops the hail adjusters say small pea size hail with a strong side wind will be just as hard on crops.

We had golf ball size hail last summer - wrecked the house siding, shingle roof, broke windows, dented tin roofs, holed plastic water tanks, broke plastic insulators on the electric fences (even the big gallagher corner insulators) but not a mark on any of our solar panels. They're harder than you think.

Good to hear , cause they are an environmental hazard when they end up in land fills
