    hailstorm

    major hailstorm hit east of stettler Saturday about 3 60 to 100 percent damage. We had the best crop ever coming but we had 5 minutes of hell storm was about 6 miles wide and probably went for 50 miles.

          I was out at Brownfield a week ago and they got hammered there that day. Crops looked amazing driving there, less stellar driving away.

          Grew up east of Castor, was trying to think of a time I'd seen such nice crops that way, albeit they're a bit behind the ones closer to Trochu right now. Most powerless feeling watching those clouds come in and knowing all it takes is 5 minutes.
