    Favorite Summer Recipes using home grown veggies or meat

    Cousin sent a recipe using lots of chopped beet leaves fried in butter, onions and garlic, cooked pot barley, lentils and rice - all covered with cream, dill and baked 45 minutes.

    It is hard to imagine anything better then fresh tomato on toast with mayo and splash of salt & pepper!
