    Forecasted rain ??????

On Friday there was a 60 percent chance of 10-15 mm for Sunday ....looks like that may not happen...

Just posting so I was wrong....

Later crops (not mine) look good but they will be needing another shot of rain .. dug down the other day after rain and it is powder dry at 6 plus inches down...

Maybe the later crops meet the same fate as the early ones...The hay crops told the story this year I think...

40mm last night total from june1 246mm, getting a bit tiresome, most crops suffering from too much rain the pasture is great but not sure how much is in the grass for nutrients, hay is rank as hell but its going to make something at least, lot of the silage crops that were seeded are bassicly screwed.

Regina was a 70% prediction, now chance of showers. Yesterday at White City an inch in 3 shots and 3 miles south a few drops.

I really need to quit reading these posts. 1.5 inches here since May1. Biggest rain at one time 4.5 tenths. I'm surprised the crop is still green.

Got an inch last night. Assumed it was general. 3 miles north not much. 4 miles south west nothing.
            Not bitching .though.
            Just suprising.
We have been on the short end many times.
Esp. Last year. I can relate.

grefer, I hear you. But we are doing ok here, in my opinion. Not too wet but not too dry either. We will need some rain a bit later to carry the crop through. I always have to remember how dry it was before it started raining and be happy that it is as good as it is.

It's the pictures some people post I am amazed with. Some damn nice crops out there.

I think I wouldn't be so depressed if I never saw them, even though I just got done telling myself I am happy with what's here compared to what could have been. Denial?

I used to tour around the neighborhood quite a bit, I quit, I don't need to feel bad about my crop compared to someone else's really good one or feel good about mine because someone else's is poorer.

The grass is what it is in the Ghetto, right Braveheart? If I've done just about everything I could to make it the best crop I can, thats all I can do.....I can't control Mother Nature and we aren't always on the same page.

              Take care

But I'm beginning to not care, that scares me.
