Are the environmental BC bands that didn't want it in the first place part of the group buying in? If not, I hope they go to war with each other - make for good TV.

Does the land it crosses become Reserve status or is it only an easement.

Is it not good that Alberta gets a conduit to the west?
Hopefully the project and long term jobs meaningfully employ Natives to help some of them get a leg up....will pay future dividends.

Trying to put a bit of positive spin on it.

Or maybe they can shut it down when ever they don’t get what they want? After all As was said we paid for it twice.

Ok then, so the Feds had the constitutional right to impose a carbon tax on jurisdictions that didn't want it but they couldn't force BC, Quebec and Native bands to accept a trans national pipeline? ****, with the word "trans" in it you would think the Feds would have rammed it down everyone's throat!

So, the good news is that the extortion may come to an end and allow this project to proceed uninhibited.

The bad news, this sets a dangerous precedent for the level of extortion to be expected for all future projects of any type. It just went from small time under the table, to as big as it gets and officially sanctioned. Not sure if it will be worth the price in the end. Maybe we will get separated before this gets built and nip it in the bud.

Careful , careful . Chuck will ride in here on here with a few others on his back pans spill their super high moral story about how we owe absolutely everything we owe and have worked for for 112 years a give it all away to those soooooo much more unfortunate . He will strike you down for striving to be even remotely successful. That’s bad.... don’t dare to strive to be something better than thy neighbor.....that’s a horrible thing ....

I hope they take care of the pipeline better than their houses.

Doesnt matter who owns it probably never gets built. Probably not needed anyway. We have a giant reset with China coming anyway. Trump is going to send them into the Middle East hornets nest for their crude while we back the US needs. That's a better deal anyway.

US needs 20m a day and is producing 13m. Canada produces 4.5. We are a nice fit for the US. We don't have the leadership to deal with the world.
