I know of three or four professionals and farmers who were convicted of small amounts back in the 70s got a criminal record and can't cross the USA border. Why for being young stupid and getting caught back in the 70s.

I am watching the news coverage of the US Dem debates and its a total nutshow. Every whacko promise you can think of. 70% taxes, health care for illegals, more illegals, abortion for trans men, etc etc.

But a pollster came on after and said yup all those ideas are way out there but be careful, 40% of the public is in favour of socialism over capitalism. I bet its higher here. Sheer needs to try and win an election. So they take a soft stance on some "moronic" issues. Like Jazz said it's the big picture that counts.
