Any more rain here and we will go backwards with more crop loss due to flooding and water logging as well as weeds in areas too wet to spray. Have some minor crop loss due to standing water. Ground has a much as it will take especially where the crop is later seeded and small. Three snow storms during harvest last year fills the soil profile. So not looking for any rain.

Looks like The Weather Network has it's crayons out again, hopefully some meaningful rain for the Slum of the Ghetto this time.
I keep thinking about improving the worst case crop scenario with needed rain......not decreasing the best case crop scenario even if it does rain!!!!!!!!!!!!!....helps keep disappointment down to a manageable level!!!!! Think about it.

My sense of Humor this week is not quite working. High School friend drowned in Northern Sask, Mother broke her Ankle and Father is starting to forget some things and showing his age. Shit is piling up. But yea I should look at the big picture and be like water off a duck back. Runoff.
No problems, keeping it real.

West of Edmonton we’re at 1.25 inches and still steadily coming down. Got 360 acres of alfalfa planted yesterday/ this morning and finished harrowing in the mud and hardly made it out of the field.
The grass is definitely growing like gangbusters. Now off to bring the bulls home for semen testing and definitely going to get soaked. Hope the “wealth “ gets spread around to everyone else. ðŸ€
