Its been awhile since a sports team has captured the entire countries imagination on the scale of the raptors. It was hyped beyond belief.

But you have to give credit to a great team, coaching staff, and management for putting all the pieces together.

The NBA is going to take notice that hundreds of thousands of fans across the country were prepared to watch the game together from Mosaic Stadium and many cities across the country.

Its hard to imagine how many people got swept up in a sport that it isn't all that popular outside of the big cities. But many school kids play basketball everywhere.

It was a good distraction. Back to reality now.

So do the Raptors get invited to the White House to be congratulated by Trump, or does Trudeau have the honors of having them at the Parliament Building?

Like Golden State, I think Trump loses!

I think with all the years of depressing socialists government and Canada losing at ever turn the country was desperate for something positive and exciting to follow!

Most of the NBA including the owners shun Trump. Might have something to do with Trump saying there were "some good people" among the white supremacists marching in Charlottesville! LOL

Best to stay away like the Warriors did. The NBA is one of the most progressive professional sports leagues on a lot of social issues.

Trump is a bigot if not an outright racist. He also said "Mexicans are all criminals, murderers and rapists" or something to that effect. But he is "a very stable genius"!

Trump is ready and willing to accept information on his 2020 opponents from any country that wants to interfere in the 2020 election. Yup only really dumb people say that before the election. You would have thought he might have learned something from his experience with Russia! LOL

He has set back the international reputation of the USA by many decades. That's what you get from a reality TV host who made his fortune with daddy's money. The "Art of the Con". Maybe he will be a real con after his presidency is finished

He will be pissed because there wasn't enough diversity on the Raptors roster...... females, gender confused, non blacks, too many whites, not enough people under 5 feet 6 inches, seniors...ad nauseam.
