    Etchevere is the Agriculture secretary.

Originally posted by "Agrovoz News Agency he Secretary of Agribusiness, Luis Miguel Etchevehere, denied that there are changes in export taxes in the study.

Asked by Radio Continental of Buenos Aires about the version that the International Monetary Fund (IMF) was asking the government to raise export duties, the official replied: "We take it as a version, a rumor."

Etchevehere's statements ratified what he had already glimpsed on Monday during his participation in Córdoba of a lunch of the Mediterranean Foundation, reflected by La Voz .

The Government ruled out a new increase in agricultural retentions
"It will continue as we come," confirmed Etchevehere.

He also ruled out a supposed discomfort with the Minister of Production and Labor, Dante Sica, with whom he said he had "a very good relationship".

"We are convinced - he added - that in order to continue taking advantage of the opportunities that the world gives us, we must continue to lower the tax pressure," the official added.[/B]

Meanwhile Cargas Belgrano is (re) opening another new railway line into the far NorthWest of the country.

residency of the Nation informed that the Belgrano Cargas train will recover a historical branch in the north of the country, after an interruption of three decades.

This will be achieved with the construction of a 120-kilometer stretch between Salta, Tucumán and Santiago del Estero that will transport about two million tons of grains (corn and soybeans) to the export ports in Santa Fe, with a reduction of the logistics costs.

Belgrano Cargas: in four years, three times as many tons transported
"Trenes Argentinos Infraestructura, a body under the Ministry of Transportation of the Nation, began work in Antilla, in the Salta department of Rosario de la Frontera, which will help strengthen and develop the economy of the area, as well as generate more employment" , indicated Presidency.

He added: "In this way, a solution will be provided to regional producers, who will have a more economical and efficient logistics alternative to the truck, while reducing traffic on routes and environmental pollution."

These works, for which the national government is investing some 3,000 million pesos, are added to the almost 700 kilometers completed and more than 400 under construction of the Belgrano Cargas, out of a total that exceeds 1,800 kilometers of recovered roads.

    Increase

During last March, the Belgrano Cargas railroad managed to transport 177,548 tons, almost four times more (+271 percent) of what it was transporting in the same month of 2015, when 47,890 tons were dispatched.

This mark in turn is the largest of the last 26 years, when the registries in the National Commission of Regulation of the Transport (CNRT) began.

The recovery of the Belgrano Cargas is part of a total investment of 8,800 million dollars in the rail freight system throughout the country, under the Ministry of Transportation of the Nation, to renew a total of 9,850 kilometers of roads, generating 70,000 jobs direct

        It means a few things...

1, further support for Macri fome election time in October.
Two, farmers are optimistic and they are planning on seeding the mother of all wheat crops in the next bit.

Three, it means exports from argue will remain very competitive with those from anywhere else and China loves buying from Argentina.

It also means their economy is not doing as poorly as north Americans want to make it seem.

The UK isn't going anywhere near Argentina this time.

By the way those are fighting words like our idiot pm found out. Don't bring up the Malvinas (what we call the Falklands) unless you want to get into a heated argument. LOL
