Cold spring related to late easter?

Seems like when Easter is late, the spring is also late. Easter and Lunar New Year in Asia are based all on the old calendar if understand it correctly. The old calendar has only 1 full moon cycle per month and works with the uneven speed of the earths orbit around the sun. New world calendar is more based on dividing the orbit into equal time amounts. We have months with 2 full moons in them on the calendar that is used in North America.

Could it be that the old world calendar is better at predicting seasons? Perhaps late or early spring and long open fall weather or short fall season with early winter is better predicted by the old calendar?

Just thinking more than normal as it has been way too cold to seed and the seeds that I do have in the ground may be less than perfect plants after it warms up.

How much rain should we expect in June and July, early fall frosts?

I am just wondering if everything will be pushed back 2-3 weeks. Later seeding, later harvest. Rainfall who knows. I am just thinking that today looks like a normal Mid april day here.
