    Another Agri sector in trouble

Why do we insist on continually allowing industries to decline in this country... How have all these trade deals helped us?

They haven't. They help the cheapest producer in the world flood every other members' markets.

We aren't, and can't be the world's cheapest producers.

Why do we keep signing one sided trade deals?!? allowing foreign competition?

Then we keep slitting our own throats: Chile, India, China, USMCA.

    This is a scary graph.

Ah, the myth of the prosperity of the "global marketplace". In reality it's only creating prosperity for the transnational corporations moving the product around the world and controlling both the input and output price the farmer pays/receives. Export a little product from country A to country B to destabilize it's production base and reduce the price they have to pay the farmer then export the product from country A+B into country C. All global trade agreements are designed to facilitate this.

Klause, I am interested in knowing what changes you will make to hedge against something like this (if any). You seem to always have ideas that make your farm profitable
