    This farmer likes the carbon tax

    Anybody still read the producer, front page has a dairy farmer saying the tax is fine, he doesn’t mind paying it. Well why not, it will be picked up in his payment formula at no cost to him. If he wants to be the poster boy for something, why don’t we dissolve the quota system and limit the compensation to what they paid for the quota. What an ass.

    Price of milk is linked to the price of fuel....of course he likes it...

    $4.55 for 4 liters at Costco
    $7.00 for 4 litres here...

        The article shows what's wrong with Ag in Canada.

        Actually, it shows more that people who are on a fixed income wage or whatever have no idea how the world works.

        yes, a dairy farmer is a busy guy but he is protected in Canada. So some USA cheese is coming north. Big deal.

        Total fool.

        But it gets headlines.
