Canada OKs Foison Glufosinate Ammonium 200 SN

Hanson has helped Jiangsu Good Harvest to receive registration for Foison Glufosinate Ammonium 200 SN and the registration number is 33386 at PMRA, Health Canada, effective April 2, 2019. This is the first formulated herbicide registered by a Chinese pesticide manufacturer, which is thought to be a milestone. This registration gives Canadian farmers an alternative tool to control weeds in glufosinate-tolerant crops. Hanson feels that more generic pesticides will be available from China in the next couple of years, which will help the Canadian farmers to be more competitive.
