    Meanwhile:
    Jet fuel consumption worldwide
Total fuel consumption of commercial airlines worldwide between 2005 and 2019 (in billion gallons) ... In 2018, it is estimated some 94 billion gallons of fuel will be consumed by commercial airlines for domestic and international flights worldwide.

Of course Canada is going to warm at twice the rate of most other countries. We are one of the last countries to still have remnants of the glaciers that covered the north 1/2 of North America. As those big blocks of ice get smaller it is going to cool us down less and we should have faster warming.

Those countries that have no glaciers never had the cooling effect, so not as much warming.

The top 1/3-1/2 of North America was covered in glaciers. We have been having global warming for as long as the glaciers have been receeding. Why Canadian governments haven’t figured this out is beyond me.

To add to that the increased rate of melting that the enviros are concerned about makes sense too. What melts faster an ice cube or a large block of ice. Critical mass.
