The trees are not natural for most of southern Sask. There were hardly any trees in a lot of the Palliser triangle 100 years ago. In south east Sask homesteaders had to go to the Moose mountains for firewood, hence the early sod houses. All the bush we push didn't exist before the 1940's. I have a aerial map of a few sections around our farm from 1947 and I am surprised how little bush there was. When we are cleaning up a lot of bush we run across lots of hand picked rock piles way back in these bluffs that tells me it was broken intially. The fertility in these reclaimed areas is amazing.

Can you imagine the carbon release from Mother Nature's scorched earth policy when prairie fires roared across the untamed western wilderness!

Well I guess you could get the sheep shit scent for yourself. Should remind you of the old country.Originally posted by grassfarmer View PostI think you'd find a limited market for it. People that enjoy destroying the natural environment around them probably don't buy a lot of air freshener.
Mind you you must be used to the scent of bullshit now since that seems to be your flow of info on here anyway.Last edited by sk_wheatking; Mar 29, 2019, 15:21.
