On Agriville there is so much tiresome and unnecessary complaining about a focus on gender issues.

In Saskatchewan, Scott Moe and the Sask Party are more progressive on gender issues than many Agriville posters.

Maybe some of you socially conservative posters should realize that you are out of step with your dismissive attitudes and constant complaining about gender issues.

The Status of Women Office is the sole branch in government that reports on the status of women. The Office acts as a catalyst within government to raise awareness of issues affecting women to ensure gender considerations are integrated into all aspects of government policy-making, legislation and program development.

I am glad you are showing your support for very Progressive women of integrity who are willing to standup for what they believe in whether it is the independence of the justice system or the rights of women, First Nations, refugees, immigrants and LGBQT.
But are you going to stop whining about gender issues?

Everyone in Canada has equality of opportunity as protected by our constitution. There is no oppression. Are you arguing that we should now provide equality of outcome as well?

If you want to see strong women, look the the CPC bench. Rempel, Bergen and Raitt are absolutely fearless and competent. That is a big difference to whats sitting on the libs bench.

You are doing more of a disservice to our girls by telling them they have to do something you deem important in order to have self worth. A womens worth is defined by her status and career? That's what they told men too and that brought a lot of family misery.

Posters aren't dismissive of women. They are dismissive of tribal identity politics and victimization wrapped up into a socialist policy. Identity politics never works because people have multiple identities and eventually you will make a policy that one side of your identity finds offensive.

Usually, normal minds tend to see harmful paradigms as being counter-productive and worthy of counter-action and dismissal.

However, we make the mistake of believing that those who contrive and promote theories like identity politics and victimization actually have in mind the betterment of society.

They do not.

Their singular goal is to cause disruption and chaos, aiming only to feed some insatiable, narcissistic beast within.

They actually thrive on the destruction and pain they cause.

It is a mental and spiritual illness from which can come absolutely no benefit.

If you ever met my wife and daughter you’d know strong principled women. My daughter is young but old beyond her years and very intelligent to the point of being scary. I do not miss an opportunity to commend her for being independent and strong willed. As much as I don’t agree with Jody Wilson-Raybould on her lefty politics I admire her strong will and intelligence and impressed that upon my daughter. I hate to say this but I told her she should be a lawyer because she has the qualities to be one. I believe we should empower our daughters to be all they can be. Girls still have to be girls and do girl stuff with girls. I’ll leave them to that. Sometimes people go to far trying to accommodate with good intentions but it comes off as being patronizing.

Liberal Party women get ahead by virtue of their ovaries.

Its really that simple.

You can argue that JWR and Jane were talented but look what happened to them. The real role for women in the Liberal cabinet is to smile and tell JT how smart he is.
