    Malt premiums

Local elevator quote for Copeland seems to be staying same as Metcalfe.

Until past year it was fairly consistently lower.

For those growers who have stayed with Metcalfe, time to switch.

Tried Copeland years ago and it performed well, but stayed with Metcalfe.
Yes, might be time to get some Copeland again

How much Metcalf and Copeland are bought each year for malt in Canada?

The past 2 years high yielding feed varieties would of been good options as well..

In this area it seems all the neighbors bly goes malt..
Lots move all off the combine..some at later dates..
        $5.75 at 90 b/a is a good return..
