It would be one federal department paying off another federal department....I guess thats economics to Justin ....to me its a ponzi scheme financially BUT if it solves a few problems getting built ...I guess that is the price the taxpayer has to pay...

So the natives block the original project, we (govt) steps in to buy it out at an inflated price and now sell it on discount to the natives. Truly an idiotic made in Canada idea. Shoot yourself in the foot and the face at the same time and call it a win.

If I was an oil producer, I wouldn't send a single barrel down that line.

I hope its managed and maintained and monitored better than some of their houses and water treatment plants.

That may be harsh but in some cases that's ****en reality.

So how are some of the FN Bands that have no economic activity on their Reserves supposed to buy in?

Enbridge's Line 3 Replacement Project is costing about 8 Billion dollars.

What about the poorest of the poor? Will they be left out? So Capitalism is about to show it's true colors with the First Nations as well, those that have the financial means to participate will/could stand to get further ahead of their counterparts.

All hypothetical rhetoric at this juncture.

Government economic improvement grants or no interest loans which are eventually forgiven. Happens with individual bands and smaller projects all the time.

First nation, Chinese nation, Saudi nation, what's the difference as long as 'Canadians' aren't attached to such a filthy common good. Haha. Well at least one lives in Canada.
