New Seed System smells like CWB

I am sitting here puzzled, many of the same farmers (including the group WCWGA) who lobbied so hard to get rid of the CWB are now fully on board for a new seed royalty system with rules set by government. Funny part is they are getting on their high horse talking about the collective greater good and whats best for the "industry". These big mouth pro royalty farmers (some aspiring politicians) remind me of the climate change crowd they basically label you as a backwards shortsighted social retard if you don't agree with the new royalty system.

What ever happened to the smaller government, less regulations???? we sure dont need any more rules in this country much less special rules for seed companies to collect money off the farmer.

And don't forget the 2.7 million donated from us through the railways overcharging.... that the WCWGA would like to see commercial rates ....hint.... they are commercial rates already...

Call them at home - at all hours of the night. Maybe they’ll get the message.

Are you a member? If not you have no reason to tell them what to think. They could and should tell you to F off.

That's not right.....they were looking for comments on their publicly accessible website and also publishing the government point people on this....

If it's for members only they should state that ....and leave the lobbying on behalf of government to others....

So if you don't agree with WCWGA opinion their answer is to tell farmers ....that they say they represent. ....to **** off....

            Just clarifying their position?

Is it that right Braveheart. ?

But, and it's a big but, that doesn't include calling them at home, anytime. That goes for directors of the WCWGA and the NFU.

Both the Wheat Growers and NFU are unique in that their members join voluntarily. Directors volunteer their time away from farms and families to pursue policies on behalf of the members. In both organizations directors aren't paid. They believe in the principles of the organization no matter what non members may believe or not believe.

Leave comments on a website, write letters to the editor, or post on AgriVille all you want. But, phoning directors at home, invading family time and personal space is wrong. Period.

Then they shouldn't publish their phone numbers. ...I did call the Saskatoon office as published in their newsletter ....the office person said the head guy would call...I left my number...he never called. ..but I am on the opposite side of a mandatory seed tax....no sense in listening to both sides..

Just curious Bucket. You're obviously anti carbon tax. Did you phone the NFU directors when they came out in support of Trudeau's regressive tax?
