    Futures prices

Looking at prices for next one to three years, indication is mostly higher.
Exception is US dollar, expected to fall versus gold and most commodities.
Canadian dollar predicted to rise versus US.
Wheat and corn show more carry.
Canola is higher for next year, then lower, only one priced in Canadian money.
Cattle and hogs more variable month to month but lower in more deferred ones.
Local elevator posted prices for new crop mostly lower, not many up yet.
Chicago oat futures, distant months lower, maybe disfunctionaal market.

    Thanks for the synopsis.
Up is generally welcome when it comes to prices. Hope grains participate.

One to three years is an eternity these days.

Hopalong I keep hearing conflicting predictions for which way the $ is heading vs USD.
On BNN most investors seem fairly bearish on Canada due to capital investments fleeing to other countries that are more business friendly.

It will be interesting to see where prices go and how far over the next three months now, that the holidays are over, the markets should be sobering up and getting over the hangovers.

Wheat should have a 8 plus now the grain companies are screwing us a dollar.

Canola any thing under 12 is a joke.

As long as quorum says everything is OK at the coast we are ****ed....

Can put a man on the moon but can't load a panamax vessel in the rain at Vancouver...

Unloads were dismal for the last few days at Vancouver...but hey ...those AG coalition Reports must be "fake" news....

Looks like a little energy there this morning.

Local basis may absorb some of that
