    Lets join the USA

The top two threads today are how easy it is to get things done in the US. Flying or rounding up parts at a decent price, the price of gas and booze and groceries way lower tax plus a super road system and hard working people. Would make it easy for us northern people to find a warm place for the winter.

Here you can't even get parts delivered to your farm because we don't even have an address that anyone can find.

Let's not. What a dumb-assed, half-assed plan - it's even worse than the western separatist nonsense. What happens when Hilary Clinton 2 is US president and Steven Harper 2 is PM here - you'd all be wanting to separate from the US in a hurry.

Been quite a few times, not so much lately. Much prefer Canada.

Because it was much more attractive than moving to the US. The US wasn't really ever in contention - New Zealand was but I concluded it's just too far from anywhere.

Well Canada is the best! but I sure worry about what is happening here . Been fixing equip going to dealerships for ag and other industries and man there is not much optimism being heard here.

As long as you actually work and can pay for your social security and healthcare, you are way further off stateside. No 'free' healthcare or old age pension.
