    7444 vs 1026

    Just to share some info.
The 2 were seeded same day.
The nexera looked excellent all season..stood good..easy to swath.both were 42 inches tall..the 1026 is 6 days later than 7444..
    The 1026 yield was 2 b/a less than 7444..
With all their bonus/premiums for us it works out to be a $ 60 per àcre profit over 7444..
For the farms who really pour on the goods it could really be a profit..

Have to be honest I have not been a fan of 7444 after a plot I did for them.....actually not really a Dekalb seed fan, many better options.

Grew 6 varieties last yr, 7444 was one of them. Have to say it finished last. 75-65 was the top one, beat 252 and Canterra 2100.
All the farmer plots showed 7444 with big yield, I was disappointed to say the least.
