All of it. It's rather like saying "all the women in the world live in the US".

Read this link from the WTO on trade profiles which shows the US has 13.37% of worlds imports. That's a big share for one country but calling the the rest of the worlds 86% inconsequential is a laugh.

China is ranked # 2 in world imports with about a 10% share. Not far behind the US

World economy is far bigger than the U.S. . . . Trump being laughed at the UN should be a concern for the U.S. But American media has a totally different spin that Trump is beyond approach when it comes to trade.

It would be interesting if the US isolated themselves regarding trade. I think if they keep raising tariffs and barriers the rest of the world will trade more with each other and think the necessity to trade with the US will disappear. As mentioned our biggest advantage with them is location but if it's too expensive to buy widgets next door we gotta make them ourselves or buy them elsewhere. Exports the same, there are other customers in the world and if they are having trouble dealing with the US we should be taking those sales. I get quite frustrated when everything we buy is based on US dollars, lots of non US merchandise is warehoused in the US. Maybe we could deal directly with the source and bypass extra costs going through the US.

Even the auto business, instead of making 50% of the car and then shipping it to the states, maybe we should make 100% and not have to rely on so much US market. I know they are much larger auto market but think we can adjust.

I really think this could backfire on Trump bad if the rest of the world works together and we should.

New NAFTA that has concessions to US demands. Trade with the US matters. Trade with the rest of the world doesn't. USA calls the shots. Told you so.

Hahaha. So much for no deal is better than bad deal bullshit. Canada just got schooled again on who is the most important country in the world. Quota on cars, quota on steel, open up dairy. Going to enjoy Quebec dairy farmers response tomorrow. Maybe load up the slurry shit spreaders and hit the polling stations? And looks like I am getting a break on importing US products duty free at the border. Gonna sleep good tonight.

What about Trudeau’s top trade priority items though?......steel, dairy, auto all fall into the miscellaneous category.

Justin is concerned if deal is gender neutral, addresses climate change and native issues..,,,these are big issues in the Liberal dream world. 🙈

Pretty sure the ones that bitch about everything.
                      Or anything Trudeau at least.
Will bitch about whatever deal was reached.

It may only be slightly less than the bitching they
Would have done if no deal had been reached.

I have no idea , if the deal is good or bad.
Do not know what is in it.
I will wait to see it to have an opinion.
After I see what actually happened.
Then maybe there will be some basis to decide
                      One way or the other.
