Try Authority...it isn't cheap ~$14/ac(high rate ???). Do a trial on some of the worst spots...it might convince you. It needs a couple of tenths of rain to activate it. It can be applied right after seeding before crop emergence so coverage is good and it's not concentrated on the ridges between the seed furrows if applied before seeding...it doesn't photo-degrade so you won't lose it that way. Actually we seem to get a bit of action on kocia the next year too. It has some cropping restrictions.

My disclaimer...Always read and follow label directions...DYODD.

Provided there is a decent crop, I'm not having difficulty controlling them in crop... it's the guys around here trying to chemfallow. Pretty sure we're ground zero for kochia resistance. Groups 2, 9, and now this year group 4 as well. Guys are now using group 14s to get control. Give it 3-4 years and they'll be group 14 resistant as well. At that point you'll be left with reglone, glufosinate, or steel.

At that point, in crop control will be near impossible as well.

Need to cross that shit with dope then we could get hippies to pick it for free!
