    desicant

Whos right ,in an article in the Alberta farm paper they state that glyphosate is not registered as a desiccant and producers are advised to be very careful with its use as such,
On this site it has been said that it is registered so who is right and who is not seems Italy is baning duram on account of testing, and other country to follow
I for one would like to see it baned as I don't like the idea of roundup on my cornflakes, bread, beer ect, just so some can get bigger,

Roundup is not and never has been a registered dessicant. Pre-harvest weed control and that's it. 30% seed moisture or less. God, and the Italians, know its widely abused.

Fine, we'll call it pre harvest weed control. Is that better? Or do you mean we need to stop applying it at such a late stage in crop?

Very useful tool that is being abused by idiots. Too early and/or jacked rates exceed MRLs. Proper(mature) and a litre max and near zero residue.
Farmers should be required to hold a applicator license and lose it after a violation or two.
Custom guys need to be called out for improper staging as well.
