    quotes from chucky this morning;

" Equal pay for equal work. Why are women paid less for than men for the same job? "

" So you are both opposed to equal pay for equal work? "

Either you're purposely trying to mislead people here on this website or your surprisingly willing, to demonstrate your duncery ! As in dunce, fool, clown, know nothing!

Equal pay for equal work has been going on in this country for decades ! There is NO difference in what men or women are paid when doing the same job !

Equal pay for work of equal value, is something entirely different !

Just who is going to decide which jobs are of equal value?

Should a steno make the same amount as a welder? vegetable and fruit picker, whos out in the sun all day, bent over or kneeling in the dirt make more money than a steno? What about a male steno, should he then make what a female steno makes, law says so. What about risk and harm to body, will they take that into account?

Women can work at any job they apply for, there's legislation providing women that right. So if women want to make what plumbers earn, then maybe they should become plumbers!

There should never be equal pay for work of equal value, if women want the pay for certain jobs, then they should train and get hired or start their own business in that job field.

BTW, pay for your own damn kids. As a farm family we did, and while we did(as taxpayers) we also paid for child care and maturity leave for female teachers, female RCMP, most every government job including liquor store workers,,,that decided to breed.

Seems like common sense and fairness to me.

And just so you know I have never voted Liberal in my life.
      Did you watch the "interview"?

Because you just did exactly what the stupid interviewer did - put words into someone's mouth - and come off looking like a completely misguided fool.

Or maybe that was a subtle attempt at humor?

      Nah, okay, didn't think so.

A very high probability that you just gave the most vacuous reply ever, even with the low expectations that you've earned.

I think JT is living in la-la land. Wake up and do what you were elected to do! You are running a country - think Trump wants to waste his time listening to a baby pontificate about how life should be in his perfect eutopia (I almost spelled Ethiopia)? Babble on!

Workforce participation is a very poor measure of economic success. More a measure of inefficiency.
Having to leave there kids in daycare, you bet, they don't want to have to deal with their little darlings. I
1 income ? how much should that be teachers 100,000/yr nurses about same oil workers aka klause 1500/day equipment operators 300+/day. And you will find most of them have 2 incomes/household, how many of you that are always whining about taxes go on exotic or out of country holidays.
As usual those with the most moan and whine the loudest.

I wonder what Maggie Thatcher would have to say to all this?
Or how she'd mop the floor with our mascara boy??

The entire concept of equal pay for equal work as the left sees it loses its’ meaning entirely when you realize that when looking at pay equity at Hydro One, they consider being a secretary in an office to be equal to being a lineman up in a bucket

What if the secretary was male(am I allowed to say male?)?
