My wife helps on the farm but she will even admit there are some things she can't physically do....

She thinks all this gender equality from Trudeau is nonsense....

And thats enough insight from a woman that I need to think its bullshit.

Would someone please define 'gender equality'? Or if it is even a possibility?

It is obvious that some physically demanding work can not be done by women and sometimes older male employees. The key is to know and respect that. Women are very capable and can provide exceptional value to the physical actions of farming. It is about respecting people for who they are, not this gender equality virtue signalling bullshit. Society is getting so absurd. They obviously have too much spare time to think up new “awareness” themes and things they find offensive.

Captain Crayon is trying to add gender equality and Eco madness to NAFTA and other trade agreements as well. All this stuff has been overdone even lefties are getting sick of it.

Equal pay for equal work. Why are women paid less for than men for the same job?

More women with the levers of power whether that be in government or around the corporate board table and on the executives.

Canada has a long way to go to reach both these goals.

Since half the population is female, it only seems fair that women share equally in running the country and the benefits that come from doing so.

For example, providing enough affordable child care options for parents, allows women to get a good education, increases participation in the workforce and increases the size of the economy and economic growth. This is especially important for single parents.

I'm so glad you can read from a campaign pamphlet.
Soon you'll graduate to driving the bus!
Whether or not life is equal here in Canada, arguably it is as fair as anywhere on earth.
Insisting on playing the fool internationally to score points at home doesn't do us any good.
Will someone call the parents, kindergarten is over.

Oh my, chucky boy, what a gullible lil rascal you are!

However, if you'd like to allow a bit of sunshine into your thinking, you will find this video most enlightening. Peterson addresses perfectly each one of the talking points you've raised.

But be warned, the hostess comes off looking terribly uninformed, obtuse, and really pitiable. Not that she even knows what happened to her...

So you are both opposed to equal pay for equal work?

Seems like common sense and fairness to me.

And just so you know I have never voted Liberal in my life.

Have you bothered asking any ladies what they would prefer? Faced with the choice of having to leave their kids in daycare to go off and work all day just so a family can have enough left over after paying the exhorbitant taxes required to pay for the socialist utopia, or having a strong free market economy where there is enough take home pay left over after taxes that one member of the family is able to provide enough income that mothers can choose to stay home and raise their own kids?

Workforce participation is a very poor measure of economic success. More a measure of inefficiency.
