    Is weather market 2018 over?

Was fun while it lasted. Looks like the markets noticed that it rained in many areas. Is this all it takes, is the crop made now, are you selling all of your old and new crop today based on the recent rains?

My 14 day looks entirely dry, but not nearly as hot as May was. Will eventually need to precipitation, even here. Did the areas that needed rain really get enough, and could you really reverse a multi year ( in places) drought in one event and grow a crop on this event?

It sounds like it, but was it a game changer in enough areas? Does weather going forward still matter, or can you make a crop on what you have in the tank now?

Was excessive rain here. Robbed bushels, never added.

We have seen this enough, and know how well tiny and germinating crops do in saturated soil. Definitely yield losses. how much depends on if we get more rain too soon. Thursday is too soon.

At least I stand a chance now. At this point probably no worse off than last year(not that that was "good" though). With the wee bit of reserve we had and this recharge there will be something. Before May 24th it looked pretty dismal.

Both canola and MGEX wheat down.

Some areas didn't get a pile of moisture.

I would bet that the last weeks weather did nothing to change yields overall. We got next to no rain and need it bad, the pictures of the standing water in fields in SK lots of places will do more harm than good. I bet there are few areas that actually got what they needed. Canola here is gonna be uneven at best. Cereals lookking not bad. Lawns look like September here, lots of cows going out right now but not a lot of grass yet. Alfalfa starting to bloom a month early.

Don't know what the other posters from this province think but I'm guessing it was good for Manitoba in general? Lots of areas got precious moisture but don't hear of many areas getting too much. The rainfall totals have certainly been very spotty over fairly short distances.
