    Wheat prices

    Pain in grain due mainly to rain on the plain?

    Just when 1 13.5 hit 7.50
    Oh well it's all about $$$ per acre anyway.

      It's about net dollars per acre.....some guys can grow 30 bpa and net more than those with 40bpa

          Rising USD plus the weak Ruble's ongoing advantage impacting Black Sea values overhanging. China / U.S. trade tensions and crude oil meltdown also impacting as general deflationary pressure points on commodity values overall. Italy's gong show is a side show as well . . . .

          Russia's wheat production is expected to be lower in the new crop year. Snowing in key Siberia growing regions yesterday. The new crop wheat export price discount is starting to narrow, a good sign. Wheat price recovery in new crop year appears possible on lower global supplies.

              Minneapolis Wheat is +11 cents this morning.
              Had a decent jump yesterday but only ended up 1 cent higher.
