        Not sure how credible weather network is.

        They also are calling for large amounts of rain for next two weeks.

              Refuse to even look at weather networks forecasts anymore. They play the hokey pokey with rainfall amounts like no other.

                looks like all that rain predicted for this area is gone, same pattern as last year. just goes to prove that current weather models do not work in areas under drought, near drought conditions.

                  Lately we've been lucky.

                  I try not to put to much faith in forecasts, escpecially predicted amounts and the system's paths.

                  I guess they(some of them) do the best they can with what they have to work with.

                  It isn't an exact science.

                  But we have so much on the line we tend to hang every hope and prayer on what ever the weather man says. Weather is too random to idolize, or place on a pedestal, even the best forecaster.

                  Some may be better than others and some may be more "accurate" than others but in the end all they can hope for is to be "close".

                  Keep your expectations low, less disappointment that way. And then when you do get "what you're looking for" you feel extra thankful[grassy ;-)]
