Well just about lost our RT.

Fire started today while seeding from exhaust were thinking but who knows. Cool heads helped as the driver grabbed the tubs for measuring seeding accuracy and found a slough. By the
time I got their with our fire equipment the tracks were burning on one side. Thank god it was calm saved the RT. Few burnt wires at back but could of been way worse. Be careful guys. On way to bring fire equip I almost totalled the one ton.

Not a good day but got to less than 1/3 left calling it a day

No down time! Good God that's belly achingly hilarious 🤣

Memo to buyers: waive not only the warranty, but the extended warranty, it's all a bloody scam, these new things are bulletproof

We aren't talking pennies we're talking millions in brand new Machinery that is not needed to farm.
When it goes well Large acre farms make multi millions .it has been going well here for about a decade. Exponential growth to maximize gains in the proper timeline of a career. Why should a farmer in this era make less than his counterpart at a desk in the city?
You stay the same size and then you never buy land. The end game is farmland ownership. Accumulate wealth. Large acre, large cash flow to make land payments . Everything else is perhiphreal. Lease the iron, pay salaries but ultimately own more land when you decide to say “stop”.
How many farmers are going to scribble around living miserly and resentful on 1000 acres Waste of time, rent it out and go get a job. Then you have spending money to live.

Kinda like the BTO's that owe a million too the CO-OP and cut a cheque for six hundred thousand and take their business elsewhere, probably only happens south of the #1

How much of that is 20% interest?

It used to be, you couldn’t do that and still live in the community for shame, or personal harm would follow, or a visit from a guy on a motorcycle, or what ever. A type of entitlement now?

Yup gotta kiss the BTO ass and bow to every demand....all while the STO pays his bills and will be there long after the BTO left the room with bills owing.

Edit disclaimer....not only a BTO issue.
