What crop software is anyone using?

I attended a Fieldview presentation last week and wondered if anyone was using a system like this?

We have not been using any of our data.

I talked to the Farmer's Edge people at the last farm show, we have not talked to the local person yet.

We don't have an agritrend person near us.

Thanks for any advice, good or bad.

I think the right platform for data collection and analysis is still in the works. I also think a good question is:

what do farmers expect from these companies?

What kind of features do we need as producers that will make it quite obvious it’s worth the time and money to invest?


As a smaller farmer, low debt. I still want to make changes on my farm that improve profitability but I want my data secure, my headaches to a minimum, and some proof that the features that are offered actually improve my margins.

I look across the fence at “advised” farms every year and I can’t figure out what they’re paying for.

I like Fieldviews price better.
But arent using any right now.
Would try fieldview if I.
A. Had all compatible monitors.
B. Felt like spending the coin.
C. Gave a hoot anymore.
Right now data collection and accessibility would be my drivers.
The desktop software for my fleet sucks badly on everything.
