A steel tour? Really ...come on!

So Trudeau feels it necessary to do a cross country tour of steel factories because of the impending tariffs.

Maybe he should do a tour of graincos, farms and other forms of primary agriculture that are affected by already imposed tariffs on pulse crops.

The only reason he is doing it is to find out how much the government may need to give the steel industry to keep them viable....mostly since there is a lot in Queeeebec.

When does ag quit being ignored.

More effort has been put into the steel industry tariffs in the last 2 weeks than all of ag since the pulse tariff was imposed?

Is there such a thing as a non-unionized steel plant? There’s your answer

      Unionized workers.
Quebec has half the aluminum production in Canada.

Goodale got Trudeau to talk about steel tariffs in Saskatchewan but not lentils, peas or chickpeas.

Follow the money. In Fat Ralph's case the trip dove tailed nicely with a fundraiser for Ralphie. Not too many lentil growers carry Lieberal membership cards anymore.

He will never dress up as a farmer , he would have to get his hands dirty,
