Well another week has come and gone. We watch the calendar change to March and seeding is two months away.

RB had their huge auction down here in Orlando wow was their iron. It’s amazing how much iron.




Feds came out Tuesday with their budget wow farmers and Ag would have a better chance sticking their hand in a alligators mouth and getting a dollar than what the Duo in Ottawa did. This is not a budget it’s fluff and stuff and do. I thing. This PM will go down in history as the guy who spent so much and accomplished nothing.

Ag contributes so much to Canada’s GDP yet not a word. Actually sickening.

Big storm on its way to Sask could be interesting but usually when they start talking about it a week before it’s all fluff and stuff sort of like the PM.

Again our PM took a personal day Monday because he worked so hard for Canada in India. I say WTF did he do except look like a fool. Really a personal day, do us all a favour and quit. The experiment was a failure as a country we all made a mistake and voted you in.

Sask politics so far I see Moe is doing not bad and the NDP wants us to go back in time and a Carbon tax because paying billions and getting a few million back is great NDP math.

School reopened yesterday in Florida large police presence.

Min age for purchasing might go up to 21 for both amo and buying. Background checks and mental health. It’s a start and some stores are dropping selling guns.

The engineering that took place in south Florida is amazing. No the swamps aren’t going dry. It’s all controlled and every storm or Hurricane fills them up and drains in a controlled fashion to irrigate and water cities and have clean drinking water.

Oh oh oh I forgot the biggest news of the week I said it was a stupid idea when Brad added it to the Budget last year and like I predicted Moe dropped it.

PST added to farm insurance premiums is done.

Now we just need a drainage system that works. Maybe like the ones who run Taylor field or Mosaic stadium should go to Disney and see how to park cars and get people in and out in a orderly fashion.

Politicians and advisors should go to the keys and see how to create a drainage system that works.

But let’s shelve it and wait till the next flood years.

I agree nothing federally for agriculture no vision but what in the world are you saying provincially is happenning for improvements to agriculture?

Nothing either and that is a problem.

I won’t play politics because under the NDP Ag got nothing our roads crumbled and hospitals in rural closed and rural was totally ignored except for land bank that was such a success. I burst out laughing.

But the comment you make is true and that’s we’re we need leadership to work with the feds and that means a strong federal Ag minister and also Provincial that wants to accomplish change not just get a department and do nothing.

Our Ag groups I also blame taking trips and really seeing nothing in their travels to help rural canada.

Sad really but till some one steps up we won’t have change.

Also some one check into this bill in the House of Commons on giving the First Nations total rights to all our land we landowners have no say what we do on our own property WTf is up with this liberal bill.

I am not sure if insurance tax was taken off farm dwellings and machinery and out buildings....

Although I think it was removed from crop and hail insurance and life insurance....

Check with your broker, I asked the day after the announcement and they were unsure about what I mentioned.

I agree dresge and widen the assinaboine and red river if need be. Create more small dams or man made lakes for flood control but let the water go we need drainage in eastern sask amd western manitoba. Sloughs made by beaver and field work around them over the years are now considered permanent.

I've been saying the same thing for years, get rid of all ag programs and improve crop insurance. but that would cause too many federal servants to lose their jobs I guess?

I saw a weird video of him trying to talk about the steel trade between USA and Canada.....he might of been testing some drugs before the interview.

Goodale also has a very strange interview regarding the Indian assassin where he ended it and fled the camera crews.....looked like his lies were catching up to him.
