    Leafcutter Bees, Alfalfa seed production

some of you guys are feeling bad about peas , lentils , etc. leaf cutter bees dropped from $125/gal. to $15/gal in one year ,(on the ones that we are able to sell, many will not sell). alfalfa seed dropped from $1.80 /lb to $.70 /lb in one year . hows that for a one year drop? anyone seeing any different prices out there concerning these two products ? anyone thats been thinking about trying that business, would be a real good time to start

I haven't enquired about alfalfa seed for this spring yet but don't expect it will have dropped from the @$4 price it's been for a while. Would be nice if it dropped to $2 but I doubt they'll pass on their good fortune.

Can a grower clean and sell alfalfa/grass seed direct to user or is it all protected varieties or controlled?
