    Teachers with guns?

So that's what trump is suggesting.
So let's think this through every teacher with a gun. In a holster? In the desk? Locked up? Which one of those makes sense with kids around you all day?

    Armed door guards? Yes
Lock the doors during school yes but what about recess and noon?

    Cause and effect.

Treating the symptoms and not the cause?

I am not for banning guns but what civilian needs a military style assault rifle. Who invented bump stocks? Why would any civilian need large capacity clips? Tighten the possession rules...like that would matter anyway.

Too bad it's come to the proposed solution.

They better not have been diagnosed with PTSD, could be another risk for a disaster. Vetting required.

Yes I agree arm the teachers, a small biometric pop open safe inside the desk. Im not sure why everyone thinks its such a big deal. Did you know cops have loaded guns in their holsters and sometimes are near children?

Got to wonder if the teachers want to be armed, it would make them the primary target. The gunner would gave to remove any threat to his ability to carry out his plan.

            Yikes.

News reports that an armed sheriff stood outside the school for four minutes until police arrived instead of stopping the shootings. What a hero!

Yes, instead of tightening the rules or banning assault rifles let's train teachers to us guns. Teachers go into the profession to educate but let's put them on the firing range.

The NRA runs the USA not the Senate, Congress or Trump. Follow the money truly applies in this case, The GOP needs those donations during the elections, plain and simple! The only reason Trump is attempting to do something this time is Parkland is loaded with money!

It was even more funnier when Trump stated they should look at video games and violent movies as the cause of mass murders. Let's also try and ban ROCK and Roll again.

I guess we should also ban sex in movies or porn as it would have prevented Trump from having sex with Stormy. Shit, I forgot the lawyer handed Stormy the $130,000.00 not Trump!

He didnt suggest what Bigwheel listed.
He floated the idea of a small % of teachers who are trained to carry (military, police, markman background) to carry a concealed handgun.
He also mentioned stronger background checks to keep mentally ill people away from guns.

A good argument Trump made is every airport, bank and government building hs security so why not a school?

Would make a school shooter think twice. The deterrent effect would be big.
