You could hardly say Western Canada's rail infrastructure was under developed for a specific time period in the past, but I would say the rail capacity has been out grown simply by greater demand on it by higher volumes and new business and the abandonment of low volume light capacity rail.....and what would appear to be no little to no investment to compensate for the rationalization and consolidation.
Well let's see , ag output has doubled or tripled and lots of rail lines have been tore up , nothing major new built in last 150 years ? Funny it can't keep up ? Every Canadian govt in the last 50 years should be ashamed of themselves . A blind man could of saw this coming
