Is meal going to drive beans? Then may be better for feed grains than canola?

I thought l saw some very attractive canola bids for way way out, I will wait for more marketing texts before I comment.

Yet soyoil, in spite of some big volatility, can't break out of this tight range its been in nearly forever. Surprisingly, there have been a few days when Canola traded up without soy oil. today is not one of them.

Soybeans main value is in meal as a protein source, oil is secondary and canola is the other way around. With all the GMO things they can do I wonder if anyone has looked at the palability of canola meal. If they could improve that there would be huge value added to canola, would be worth way more than Soybeans.

A facility in Weyburn, Sk. I never called to verify, I rounded up a tiny bit...could have just as well said $11.15 rounded down.

I didn't want to get "too" specific. 🙈🙉🙊

Edit: Morning and afternoon price quoted there.

Isn't that kinda bold as a buyer to commit that far out.....there could be 25 million tonnes harvested next fall. 😉
