    I assume China numbers are likely questionable as they try to manipulate markets.

      I believe China actually the largest wheat producer by country. But they consume all they grow.
      And yes for them numbers are political.

        Looking at China's annual import numbers is usually more telling than there production numbers for wheat.

        However they do have a storage policy and are "likely" sitting on a large amount of wheat in general.
