    B.C.'s C02 emissions

Article in today's Vancouver Sun New report shows that BC's emissions continue to increase. New report shows that in 2015 emissions increased 1.6% over the previous year. I thought BC's carbon tax was a resounding success? All the enviro's want a steeper increase to the carbon tax and more regulations!

Well, there's obviously only one conclusion - tax harder!

I am amused there is so little reaction. B.C.'s carbon tax policy has been heralded by enviromentalist's as a successful example of a tax on C02 that both lowered emissions and did not hamper economic growth. The problem is it is not lowering emissions. Emissions in B.C. did decline from 2008-2012 but have been rising ever since. The implication for us all is that with the NDP in power in B.C. and Justin Trudeau in Ottawa the response will be even more aggressive environmental tax policy because the environuggets will scream that present policies are not working more extreme measures are necessary, it is a very bleak future for anyone in the resource sector.

One other take away, this is proof C02 taxes don't work!

Useless idiots run the country and till the shit hits the fan this won't change.

If emissions are rising is the temperature getting colder?

This is actually what the lefties will try to do, less wealth = less emissions.

Look how dark it is in North Korea at night on earth Day, they win every year!

no, no ...... I have been schooled on that . it's just weather ,if brutally colder than normal for half the f$&king winter. it only counts as climate change if it's hotter than normal , even for a very short period . then leftard, climatards jump on the bandwagon . Hope that makes. sense , lol
