    Was skyping with my uncle earlier... he talked about this... works well he says to tell if cows are in distress...

    Not my kind of thing. Don't understand the guys that note information about their animals, feed it into a computer program then be amazed when the computer can give them the information back again. Can manage mine fine between what's in my head, in a notebook or worked out on a scrap of paper.

      The link was short on specifics, about talking to your cow.
      But if I could get an alert to my phone whenever a cow is in distress, i'd pay good money for that. For example, a very pregnant cow lays in a hole, can't get up. Would need to check cows every half hour to have any chance to save her, but an alert could be the saviour. Give every cow a SIM card and monitor vital functions. Could also know when someone is calving or sick, GPS and know if they are out. Add a shock collar and trian them to move themselves for intensive grazing without fences.
