Does anyone know why the Russians are doing this?

Because a bushel in the ground equals up to 45 bushels out....it's wealth creation if you are an exporting nation....the farmers may not be wealthy but everyone between the farm and the end user is....

So you have to support farmers to continue to generate the basics for wealth creation...

Not to many suits running combines but they understand where their wealth comes from....

Governments of Canada do not understand this. . ...that is why we only led the infrastructure building of the world back in the early 1900s or late 1800s.....

Canada has been resting on its laurels ever since....

The wealth creators in Canada are being taxed out of business. Carbon tax is no exception to that .

I ageee we need less costs passed down to farmers because the neutral tax is now going to bring in 200 mill just firing up. Yea it’s neutral al right.

You can’t keep kicking th producers of wealth sooner or later we turn.

I said it here before but no one seemed to either believe it or thought it was bullshit. I flew from Saskatoon to Calgary and back at the beginning of Nov. You could literally count the grain bags on one hand.

Relax it’s not 1985 again. World population in 1985....4.9 Billion. World population in 2017....7.6 billion and growing. Lot more mouths to feed.

Yes Russia is coming on and why not? Putin is smart the rubble is low and export dollars are real and very helpful to their country and people. They have the best land but their costs are not all that low and because of the lack of laws and trustworthy government their production will expand and contract year to year.

Debt free or low debt farms here will weather whatever storm there is. And if it gets really bad, there will come along another Mulroney or Devine to take us through the valley as it all get sorted out.
