Will 200000 tonnes a week west cut it.?

Latest reports show only 200000 tonnes getting shipped west for the week....

With 2.5mmt of vessel space and 51 percent space at port .....does no farm group think it's worth a call to see wtf is going on?

First, I will say that this is terrible performance for this time of year. So don't get me wrong.
However check your numbers. Notice the Primary/Process shipments total 487,400 for week 17. Also the total received at Pacific ports totals 445,400(in red at the very bottom).
The number reported for tonnes on rail is what is counted up on report day. It does not include the total amount shipped or received at port for the whole week. Still a dismal performance. Why can't Grain Monitor issue a press release when the job is obviously not getting done in a timely fashion?

Well after 31 days at Prince Rupert the MAJULAH SINGAPURA is on her way to the Philippines with a cargo of wheat. It is estimated it will sail across the Pacific in 21 days arriving in Iligan City on Dec 27

Either wheat is in short supply in Canada or Prince Rupert is so pleasant that no one wants to leave.
Don't know what other reason there would be for taking so long to get a ship on its way

It's called backing up the system so no one has to bid on grain....

You have elevators looking for grain to fill their book into Feb-Mar time frame but boats waiting on west coast? ?????

It's only 5 trains to fill a boat from facilities that clean on the prairies. ....straight into a boat since it's already graded when the train is loaded....

Look at what is happening in Russia and Ukraine etc with help from China and the Russian Gov. Look at South America and again tell me how the Ponzi scheme we have in Canada is working.

Were getting handed our lunch and most cant see it.

Wk 18 Dec 3-10: Good railcar numbers into Vancouver(5300), bad railcar numbers into Pr Rupert(747)
