Malt bids are pretty low but still at a premium to feed bids.

Be interesting what this does to acres next year.

More guys jump on the malt bandwagon despite low prices.

Premiums are poor because there is quality barley in abundance. No issue making the grade
If the samples were being picked apart with the small premiums we have producers would be phoning the feedlots and turning their backs on the malt market
It's a good thing we did harvest quality or there would be no malt export market at all this year

Yeah from what ive heard its 70% plus acceptance rates on production contracts. Beats the normal 40%-50% acceptance.

Never got into malt but heard its pretty hard to keep quality wise for a long term. Be interesting how much gets carried over and what shape it's in afterwards.

The feed barley going to china is being sold as malt.

So the lowest price is the law.

Pop-Ups and banners are annoying, aren't they?
